High School Class Ring

Maine - Wisconsin

High School Class Ring

In high school, everyone made their own class rings. During the week we were making them, I was incredibly sick, so my friend decided to make a ring for me. This ring symbolizes our friendship and my ability to persevere through difficult situations. The word “rise” is engraved on the outside and the word “resilient” on the inside. These words remind me of my strength. I have worn this ring on a chain around my neck every day since the end of my senior year of high school. It came with me when I moved from Maine to Wisconsin for college, and in all my travels since then.

Some people play with their hair when they are nervous or bored, I fiddle with my ring.

This ring makes me feel happy and gives me good luck; I feel incomplete without it.
